Clarice Beckett was a wonderfully evocative artist who painted during the early 1900s. She adopted a style called tonalism to create misty and sensitive works.
 
I found this delightful calendar when I was at the National Library of Australia (where I worked for a year) doing research into my writing on Australian art history.
